When you hear the word “Kanakuk” you might
smile and think of a summer camp for kids.
Even if you’re one of the thousands
of campers who have attended these exciting Christian sports camps or a parent
who’s sent your kids to camp, you might be surprised at the scope of our
activities and involvement. From one twelve-week long boys camp back in 1926,
Kanakuk has grown and expanded over the years to include a family of affiliated
ministries.

These 7, 13, and 25 day summer sports camps are truly an exciting adventure in Christian athletics. They feature college-age role models loving and encouraging kids through athletic instruction, competition, fun activities, and Biblical training.
You’ve asked for it for years and now it’s here… Kanakuk’s first ever family camp adventure! This one week family experience will be packed with family fun, family challenges, family adventures and biblical instruction… building strong relationships and making memories your family will cherish for years to come.
This Christian sports camp committed to reaching the urban youth of our nation with the love and power of Jesus. With the vision of reaching more than 100,000 kids in the next decade to revolutionize inner city America, KAA began in 1978 using Kanakuk Kamp's facilities. Eventually, the first camp, KAA I, was built and opened in 1991, and the number of urban youth and adult leaders served has grown every year!
This specialized youth ministry training program for post graduates was launched in May of 2002. As selected college graduates participate in classroom sessions and internships under the leadership of youth specialists, unique emphasis is placed on the integration of knowing the scriptures and practical application. Significant components of the year-long program include a community learning environment where mentoring and accountability are stressed. It is envisioned that these future leaders will impact the youth culture across America, ultimately equipping the next generation to reach the world for Christ.
Kanakuk campers and their friends are encouraged and challenged throughout the year as this youth ministry is focused on discipleship and mentoring today’s teens in 29 locations across the mid-west. Working on a community-wide scale, K-Life networks kids to build positive, godly relationships that can withstand the negative peer pressure so prevalent in today's youth culture.
Joe White travels to college campuses throughout the United States to share the gospel of Jesus Christ. As Joe takes on the part of the Roman cross builder, and examines the crucifixion through the eyes of those who witnessed it personally.
Joe White gives teens great motivation to stay pure in an incredibly creative fashion. Kids will walk away with the truth about sexual purity and the chance to understand God's forgiveness and start over again.
Joe White delivers the message of the cross at Promise Keepers events and other speaking engagements around the country.
This charity was established by Kanakuk to provide 5,000 Haitian children with a solid education, a growing personal knowledge of Jesus Christ, and a daily nutritious meal of beans and rice.
