Kanakuk Kamps

To book your kamper's flight and to ensure that we have all of the information necessary to meet your child at the airport, we ask that you make your flight arrangements through Kanakuk's designated travel agent:

Kanakuk ties directly into Great Southern's itinerary system, ensuring that we have the latest flight information for your kamper. Based on your kamper's flight itinerary, Kanakuk will automatically enroll your child into the appropriate shuttle service.

If you choose to book your child's flight on your own, you must e-mail your itinerary information to transportation@kanakuk.com two weeks in advance of your child's term to secure shuttle service.

We can meet any flight between the hours of 9am to 9pm and there is no enrollment limit for this shuttle service - everyone who requests this service will receive it. Any shuttle reservation request with less than 48 hr. advance notice will incur a $25 late fee).

A Kanakuk representative will meet all kampers at the airport security gate. If your child is flying as an unaccompanied minor/escorted, please give the name of "Sharon Smith" as the person meeting your child. If this service is also needed for the return home flight please pay for it in advance and provide the voucher with your return ticket/receipt so we will know this service is needed and paid for in advance. All ticket/receipts will be collected for safe keeping and returned upon arrival to the airport for outbound flights.

We will pick up and return kampers to the Springfield/Branson National airport on any opening and closing day of Kamp. This optional service is $45 each way and includes lunch when appropriate. The ideal time to fly into Springfield/Branson National airport is between 10am and 2pm. The ideal return home flight time is after 2:30 pm to avoid missing closing activities.

We will pick up and return kampers to the Branson airport on any opening and closing day of Kamp. This optional service is $25 each way and includes lunch when appropriate.

Although kampers are not allowed to arrive before their opening term date or stay later than their ending term date we do realize “in term” travel sometimes is needed. Shuttle service can be provided at cost as long as the request is made 2 weeks in advance and flight times MUST be between the hours of 9am – 9pm.

For inbound flights a Kanakuk representative will meet all Kampers at the airport security gate. For outbound flights, we will help check your Kamper in, see them through security and stay in the airport until their dflight departs. If flying out as a UM we will go through security with your Kamper and remain with them until their flight departs.

Inbound Shuttle service FROM Springfield, MO (SGF) to K1, K-Kountry, and K-Golf is $75 one way, to K2, K-West, and K-Seven is $120 one way.

Outbound Shuttle service TO Springfield, MO (SGF) for K1, K-Kountry, and K-Golf is $90 one way, for K2, K-West, and K-Seven is $135 one way.

Inbound shuttle service FROM Branson, MO (BKG) to K1, K-Kountry, and K-Golf is $35 one way, to K2, K-West, and K-Seven is $75 one way.

Outbound Shuttle service TO Branson, MO (BKG) for K1, K-Kountry, and K-Golf is $45 one way, for K2, K-West, and K-Seven is $90 one way.

Kanakuk Kamps offers one-way ground charter bus service to kamp from the following airport:

Tulsa Airport to Kamp for $94.00

Because this bus service does fill up and seats are limited you MUST book through GST as it can only be selected in conjunction with your child's flight itinerary. Flights must be in before 9:30 AM and your Kamper must be at the SW Baggage Claim "B" by 10 AM with their luggage to catch the bus. We CANNOT hold the bus for late arrivals so if your flight is going to be delayed beyond this time other arrangements must be made and done so at your expense.

Special Note: The TULSA bus and the TULSA AIRPORT buses are not the same. Be sure you are confirmed on, and your statement reads TULSA AIRPORT.

Due to varying airline regulations and security protocols, we cannot meet unaccompanied minors/escort service at this airport. If you need escort service for your child, want to use free miles, points, vouchers, different travel agent or similar services, you must fly your child into either the Springfield/Branson National Airport or the Branson Airport. Kanakuk can provide shuttle service for kampers to and / or from these airports on any opening and closing day of Kamp. This optional service is $25 each way. Pick up is available only 1pm or after and the ideal return flight time is after 2:30 pm to avoid missing closing activities.

You must e-mail transportation@kanakuk.com two weeks in advance of your child's term to secure shuttle service. Due to the coordination of shuttle pickups from the two commercial airports (SGF and BKG) we may require your flexibility in regards to pick up and drop off times so your patience is appreciated.

Branson West airport (FWB) is a new airport located just northwest of Branson and Kimberling City. FWB is 23 miles (40 minutes) from K2, K West and K7.  FWB is 17 miles (30 minutes) to K1, K Kountry, K-Golf and K-Kaua'i.
