Kanakuk Kamps

It is such a blessing to be a part of the ministry at Kanakuk Kamps. As a young man, I was greatly impacted by teachers, coaches, and older athletes that I looked up to. I'm thankful that many of those influences where godly men who modeled what a Christ follower should look like. My heroes were men who invested themselves in the lives of younger men so it became my goal to do the same. After my first year of college, I spent part of my summer working at K-1! I was greatly impacted by how the directors and staff served one another and loved being used by the Lord to impact the boys in my cabin. My relationship with Jesus really grew while working at K-1 and I was so excited to work at kamp, year around, when the opportunity came. Kanakuk's mission statement, 'To evangelize and equip the next generation to reach the world for Christ,' was much in line with my own personal calling and passions. It was also at Kanakuk that my wife, Callie, began her relationship with Jesus as a young kamper at K-Kountry. Our relationships with the Lord have benefitted greatly from our time at Kanakuk. We feel so privileged and humbled to be in a place that God can use us in the lives of young men and women. It is our prayer that others will be impacted as greatly as we were and still are at kamp!
