Kay Talks to Kanakuk Alumni

Since 1926, folks have been coming to the Ozarks to attend Kanakuk Kamps calling it their summer home! Since 1973, I have loved every minute of the blessings of Kanakuk.

We consider all our staff and Kampers as part of our big Kamp Family. We want to know what is happening in the lives of our staff and leadership teams, as well as our wonderful kampers and their families. Several years ago I was given the opportunity to fulfill my heart’s desire of keeping our information updated to bring together past and present Kanakuk families and friends! Some of our best and most lasting friendships are made here at Kanakuk. It is always good to hear from those old friends and from the people who have enriched and influenced our lives so much.

One way to accomplish this goal has been the Alumni Newsletter! We are now expanding this vision with a Kanakuk Web Page which will include a section just for YOU - our Kanakuk Alumni. This webpage will be a work in progress, developing as needs arise in sharing with one another announcements, needs, whereabouts and special events going on in your life and the lives of our Kanakuk Family!

It is so exciting to see Alumni reconnect with exuberant laughter and the stories that flow as memories open! Let’s keep it going! You will see ongoing changes in the Alumni Section of our Website as you watch us develop this year.
